The Keep in Contact portal

What is the Keep in Contact portal?

The Keep in Contact portal is a completely anonymous online system which allows you to answer further questions about the information you provide. These questions will come from the police and other law-enforcement agencies, and Crimestoppers staff will post them for you to consider.

Opting into Keep in Contact can help investigators to clarify matters, which can improve the speed and quality of an investigation.

Here's how it works:

  1. When you complete our online form, there is a question at the end where you can choose to opt in to the Keep in Contact portal.
  2. If you decide to opt in, you will then be given a unique code (which you need to remember) and will also be asked to create a custom password. You need to remember both of these to log into the Keep in Contact portal.
  3. Once you have submitted your form, we will pass your information on to the relevant law-enforcement agency.
  4. You need to log into your account regularly over the next 14 days to check for any follow-up questions. If you do not log in, or there are no further questions, your account will time out after 14 days.

How to log into the anonymous Keep in Contact portal:

  1. Go to https://crimestoppers-uk.org/anonymous-login
  2. Enter your security details
  3. Click 'Log in'
  4. Wait to be logged in.

Problems logging in?

  • Check that you have entered all of your security details correctly.
  • Your account will close automatically in 14 days if you do not log in or there are no questions for you. Your original information will still be collected and used.
